1 year, 1 month and 15 days since I tore my shoulder up.

I'm not sure if it will ever feel completely normal again. But at least it's strong enough to do this.

Singles this morning at 110kg, 125kg and 120kg.

Maybe one day I'll get back where I was.

New camera, who dis

Still struggling with hip stuff but I've been doing these high box squats for a while and they've allowed me to keep working away at my squat anyway.

Here's a single at 137kg from earlier today and then the fourth back off set.... 112kg times ten. Blah.

Did a bunch of other stuff too, then washed the car. Tired now.

This is the heaviest I've benched in a long time, since I tore my shoulder in (I think) August last year. I've lost some strength but eh. It'll come back.

Anyway I still did the work sets I planned today. Here's a bunch of benching where I'm clearly trying to protect the sore shoulder. I did some lat pulldowns, leg extensions, triceps extensions and curls after that. Hope it is a great weekend for everyone!

But I have a ton of things to be thankful for. Whether I deserve them or not.

Deadlift day. New power bar from @loadedlifting tu

Deadlift day. New power bar from @loadedlifting turned up on Friday, first time pulling with it. Definitely a lot quieter and nicer to pull with than my old bar - hopefully disturbed the neighbours a little less at 5am this morning. Hope my hands get used to the knurling quickly!

Couple of singles with 210kg - it was only supposed to be one, but I wasn't happy with how I locked out the first, didn't set my hook grip well.
Four sets of six with 180kg.
Did some pause SSB squats and reverse nordic curls and lateral raises after that but it's all boring so I won't post here.

Some snippets from the weekend training sessions.
Yesterday: really light tempo squats because I'm slightly injured again (yay!), plus leg extensions, incline bench, rear delt flys and seated dumbbell press.
Today: Comp bench for a 125kg single then a few triples, a few sets of Larsen bench, lat pulldowns, leg extensions, curls and triceps pushdowns. Needed a whole lot of couch time after that.

This morning's session. Pulled 200kg, moved a bit

This morning's session.
Pulled 200kg, moved a bit slow but I haven't pulled anything heavy for weeks.
8x175kg, 8x175kg, 4x175kg (tired), 6x175kg.
Pause SSB Squat - 3x6x107kg, bit lighter than planned, I'm nursing a thing.
Lying leg extensions and lateral raises to finish.
We do what we can do. And I need coffee now.

Sunday's bench session. I was somewhat pumped wit

Sunday's bench session.
I was somewhat pumped with how fast 115kg moved (last warmup). Then 122.5kg was @ 6.5 maybe.
Some easy triples with 112.5kg after that.
Then Larsen bench: 2x8x90kg, and then 12(!) x 82.5kg
Some lat pulldowns, unilateral leg extensions, curls and triceps pushdowns to finish.
Was a pretty good day.

Squat and bench from this morning. Squatted 1x165k

Squat and bench from this morning.
Squatted 1x165kg @ 6.5 or something, then 3x5x142.5kg pretty easy.
Incline bench 3x5x80kg, 8x72.5kg
Walking lunges (before squats), reverse flys, Arnold presses, etc.
Still having squat issues but I'm doing as much as I can tolerate and keeping it fairly low intensity.
